If I have one piece of advice for aspiring #gamedev people it is this. Do not announce your game or release your trailer without a clear idea about what you want users to do when you do so.
I see really cool announcements every day and more than half the time there is no call to action, no store page, and no discord, no mailing list.
Social media retention is low, people like and retweet/toot and forget a few days later. You need something for them latch onto or you will lose them.
