At the moment I'm writing a #PenAndPaper campaign set during the Satanic Panic of the 80s. It's inspired mostly by Scooby-Doo, Buffy and movies like The Craft and The Faculty.
I also have the tendency to read way to much about the topics I use and I have to tell you... most of this cultists are nuts. I can basically steal every villain from "reality". Thank you, LÊo Taxil, for the most entertaining campaign ideas so far.
Also worth mentioning. I'm using the (way to underrated) "Kids on Bikes"-System for this #PenAndPaper campaign. Not only because it really fits the vibe of the story, but it's also very intuitive, fast and kid friendly. I absolutely adore this system 💕💕
@To I am jealous. I bought that book a year ago, and have yet to get any of my players on board.
@GeoffAO So far I only was GM for one pre-written KoB-Adventure, but it was a lot of fun. Right now I'm creating my own fictional city for "Monster of the week"-like adventures. Gives me more flexibility with group constellations.
@To Monster of the week is a great format! We plan to go back to Blades in the Dark when this 5e campaign ends, I was considering MoTW with Ghosts for it.
@GeoffAO Like I said in the first post. I'm inspired a lot by the movie The Craft. Planning for a first adventure to establish a base for my coven of players, which are using witchcraft against a variety of fantastic creatures 😊😊
Blades in the Dark is definitely looking intriguing. Exactly my cup of tea.
