@eolai there’s a great deal of comfort in seeing something familiar. In a sense it triggers the same emotion as when hearing an old song. Captured in this brilliant colourful way, I’m easily transported right there, and it lights up my own memories and experiences. Thank you for sharing.

@eolai @ritawild I have feels. Here I am, in Australia but, my first overseas holiday in my Previous Life was catching the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry with my ancient Corolla. Listowel was on my (unplanned) route. Ended up at the Cibeal at Kenmare (?) Would have a mid/late 80's. Now that was one hell of a holiday. Oh, to be young again!

@phloggi Thank you. It's a paved town square with car park. You don't have to walk too many metres to get to grass though, whatever colour it is :)

@eolai lived there for 3 months , my first ever job was at the listowel arms. Still recovering from working race week 30 years on. I love your paintings

@SusieMu45 Thank you very much. One of my close friends had his wedding in the Listowel Arms which was a very enjoyable 24 hours in there for me - and if I'd known I wouldn't have booked a B&B :)
