Looking at a redundant / HA Postgres cluster here but so far not needed. KISS principle, gotta make sure it doesn't create more issues than it solves 😜

@stux Yeah, I just got my invoice today, €659.91 for hosting the entire infra (half a rack worth, servers, storage, switches, routers) 😭

@talesofaprinny @stux That's what I do, but not at Hetzner. I rent a rack and put my own gear in it.
But since @stux is from the Netherlands and Hetzner is in Germany, the travel might be quite the burden 🙂

Considering moving my instance to another hosting provider with more managed services for scalability reasons,… etc. It’s currently hosted on a small VPS on Herzner in Germany. These are the options I have in mind right now [ ] Stay with Herzner [ ] AWS [ ] Leafcloud [ ] Other (post in comments)

@jannis I went to the max but after a week of delays.. Hetzner is having issues with rescaling of servers so i phoned quite a lot haha!
Im happy donations kept up otherwise it wasn't doable.. Plus ive setup Masto.ai a few days ago to lighten to load a bit. Really saved us i think
