Natsu Kaze@saint11 Really does feel like a nicer, less artificial atmosphere here. Reminds me of the ancient internet of the late 90s/early 00s, where people actually wanted to talk to each other, instead of just doomscrolling all day.
I think Mastodon being organized into servers and showing the Local timeline has a lot to do with this, along with the lack of algorithm garbage, obviously. It's really nice!
