Hi everyone! Hope that you are all doing fine!
Having a small teccy problem with following back, when I scroll down my list of followers to follow back it errors after following 5 folk and I cannot get further down the list. Any advice?

I finally went through my email notifications of who followed me and pasted each handle from there into mastadon and followed back. A bit of a pfaff but got it done. Hoping that as this platform develops that it fixes this situation to make it that we can simply scroll down the list and follow back. Also that we can choose our language environment to a preferred language rather than a regional auto one. :)

my advice is check your settings and tick the box which allows new followers to automate an email then you can copy paste it into the top left corner of your screen in Mastodon and return, then you see the person and can follow back.

@Parsley If you find Sydesjokes on Twitter, he has published a guide to importing contacts automatically. You have to do it on browser version not the app but it works for me. I’d link it for you but I don’t know how, sorry.

Oh yes! so much easier following from Colins posts as then no need to leave mastodon, just click each link and follow :)

@Parsley I'm hardly an expert, but found that if they're on another server, sometimes it works to click on the profile name, copy the full address, paste it into the search window, and then let it be brought up and then connecting that way.
