Basil BachWe will be celebrating the start of the World Cup in the school I teach at by joining in the Urdd jambori. I will be singing my heart out of course, but inside I am very uneasy about promoting an event being hosted by a state that would imprison or execute me because of my sexual orientation. I intend to teach a discussion lesson about #HumanRights in Qatar next week, but researching and planning it is aggravating me!

@nspugh It sometimes goes the other way too, where my colleagues and I really believe in or support something, and we have to remind ourselves that we are there to teach learners HOW to think, not WHAT to think!
