@shanselman this mastodon thing is wild
@mucio @shanselman same here ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
@phillipmai @shanselman I feel like some ML algorithm needs retraining or it didn't like dotnet twice
@mucio @phillipmai LOL you do know that I write the content warning, right? There's no algo here
@shanselman @mucio @phillipmai you're too sincere, we're not ready ๐Ÿ˜‚
@shanselman @mucio @phillipmai On one hand, I feel like custom content warnings are prime grounds for trolling people, but on the other hand everyone has been super great about not spoiling Andor yet. That said, I presume abusing content warnings is frowned upon.
@phillipmai @mucio @Warren I think insincere ones could be a problem. I think given the vibe here, mine was appropriately accurate
@shanselman @phillipmai @mucio @Warren it was pitch perfect - never change, Scott ๐Ÿ˜‰
@shanselman @phillipmai @Warren @mucio Iโ€™ve been avoiding federated today for this very reason.
@shanselman @mucio @phillipmai Its called self-moderation. I think it used to be a thing.
@mentor @shanselman @phillipmai sure, like to mark some content NSFW or Spoiler Alert. I didn't know it was left to the users and, for sure, I didn't expect the self-deprecating twist :)
@shanselman @mucio ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ - thanks for the warning โš ๏ธ hah
@shanselman @phillipmai ops... No, I didn't know it. I just arrived here and I remembered someone complaining about some automatic form of "moderation" here. Knowing what I know now, I appreciate the humor. Thanks :)
@mucio @phillipmai aw, my apologies. Yes here I wouldnโ€™t think about it as much a content warning, and more like a subject line. Itโ€™s a little bit of metadata to let you know what youโ€™re getting into, for example, you could avoid all US politics this way, but you can always auto expand them in your own settings

@shanselman @phillipmai but in that case I would miss the warning :) If it's a custom text chosen by the author, it makes sense to see it.

I guess I will need to test it

@phillipmai @mucio you can auto expand, and it will still show the warning as a subject title
