Perhaps you could get into the habit of adding image descriptions? There's a prompt to do so when uploading.
A visually handicapped friend on Mastodon was just saying how many images he's encountering here that lack descriptions. I find it enjoyable to add them knowing it's helping someone by describing what they can't see.
