Really important thing you need to know about Mastodon: You don't need to use the official app!

There are some good third party apps listed on Mastodon's own site:

The third party apps have more features and had way more development time.

Android users might want to start with Tusky and Fedilab

The app just shows a screen to join communities and if i want to join, it swaps to the browser

Which app?

You have to authorize an app to use your account once...

So it will ask for your instance... so you can login with your account to authorize the app.

NICK... welche App würdes du empfehlen ? die original Mastodon ist irgendwie nicht ganz so das wahre für mich... ich will ja nicht zum HeLücht werden wenn ich meine Trööts tipsel usw

Bei #Android würde ich sagen, wirf mal einen Blick auf #Tusky und/oder #Fedilab.

Sind beide natürlich auch stilecht via F-Droid zu beziehen.
