So many colors.
Warming up to the #Avid controllers.
Wish the #Flux Analyzer was a little bit less of a Christmas tree. On the other hand it's November. Ah well...

@Zenephant I never got on the Avid hardware controllers… went Slate Raven instead and have been pretty happy. The biggest downside is the 1080p resolution limit, so my screen real estate is very limited.
@brianstecklermusic
I worked with Raven a few times and for much longer with the better (but now deprecated) DTouch software on a 27'' touchscreen (still have that in the other studio).
Still have a lot of of love for those solutions, but Raven overlay takes up so much screen estate, and DTouch isn't update for Pro Tools anymore.
I would be very happy if #softube Console 1+Fader was integrated with Pro Tools... It's wonderful in Studio One / Logic / Cubase.
Or somebody gift me an old Icon desk😅
@Zenephant Yeah, I wish I could justify springing for the bigger MTX for the screen real estate alone. Sometimes I'm tempted to move all my macros to ScreenFlow or something similar and and bailing on the overlay all together. I do like the gestures for tool switching and zooming.
@brianstecklermusic Raven v4 has been hinted at for years now and I really hope they would make it scalable...
I am still actively looking for a software that lets me put shortcuts on a user definable, borderless hot key "zone" similar to what DTouch did.
I could use a stream deck or iPad of course, but I ALREADY HAVE the big touchscreen 😅
But till now all tools I found have at least a big border round the buttons...
@Zenephant I'm on the beta team for V4. Not sure what I can say... there are a couple features that you'll probably like, but it's still tied to the screen resolutions of their screens.
@brianstecklermusic I was hoping you could scale the buttons (and the panels you place them on) down... It always felt like they were made for people with 3cm thick fingers.
But good to know it's still in development!
@Zenephant Yeah, agree on the button size. But, there are some ways to get a LOT more macro buttons on-screen with 4.0.
