Trunk for the Fediverse

@downey @taylorlorenz Reading the following hurts a bit: "You must write mostly in English. At least half the posts on your profile must be in English. The posts on your profile include the posts you boost."
English is very natural to me and sometimes I don't even recognize whether I'm communicating in German or English. On Twitter I followed Israeli people writing in Hebrew and Japanese people writing Kanji/Kana. The language wasn't a problem.
@brar There are multiple versions based on language; scroll down a bit more and you'll find the links.
@downey yeah, I saw that. Thanks!
I'm rather referring to the problem that I feel somewhat guilty over here, that I'm spamming people's timelines with a language they don't understand while not being able to follow people who's language I don't understand.
I loved the translate feature and I hope at some point it will work like this over here too.

@brar Translations coming in the next release I believe, already in beta.

Also be sure to select the post language next to the upload and other buttons. Users can use settings to specify what languages they want to see on their timelines.

@downey Thank you. I'm doing that (select the correct language if I don't forget it) already when using the web UI but it doesn't seem to be supported in #Tusky. I also read about the language detection not being perfect (I don't recall where. Maybe in some v4 release notes) so I assume that there's a language detection feature somewhere under the hood.
In any case I hope that the language problem somehow gets solved by the platform. Be it v4 or any later version - I'm patient.
