theblindboypodcastI just saw that an Irish journalist got booted off Mastadon. This is the type of conflict that drives the emotionally exciting narrative experience of using social media. BUT.. do we go feral and deranged about it here? Or will we use our twitter for that? Is Mastadon the office and Twitter is the smoking shed?
Philip O'Connor@blindboyboatclub I've seen discussions about it, there seems to be a lot of knee-jerk reactions going on and limited understanding of what this platform is (ie.e not the Lidl centre-aisle Twitter, as most people complaining about it seem to think)

@carlyk @blindboyboatclub I can't remember the person's name, it's not someone I follow on there but I think she works for the Irish Times. Some dispute with the Irish Mastodon site admin, I believe.
