Rob Yurkowski (he/him)@HIH_Homeschool Same thing, though sometimes 'a server' refers to the software that an instance runs (e.g. most of the servers on the fediverse are Mastodon servers). It's dependent on context. But like 99% of the time, they're just meaning the same thing.
