I know it's against their design choices, but I really liked being able to QRT a post my friends made and yell "THIS IS AWESOME! EVERYONE GO FOLLOW THEM!"
"You can retoot and reply" Not the same effect and more work that necessary.
Also just retooting isn't a call to action, just a boost as the name implies.
