Mastodon is insanely more rewarding for me than Twitter. With about a 10th of the followers, it draws almost as many views to my videos as Twitter. The platform is really, really good.

I also love the feeling of using an #opensource platform to communicate with people.

@thelinuxEXP It's amazing what can happen without an algorithm that boosts inflammatory posts.

It's like going back in time, in a good way.

@Phil_C Yeah, it just feels nicer somehow, even like people regulate themselves instead of chasing witty posts that will annoy the most people possible
