Recently took nighttime pictures with the drone over Sherbrooke, Qc, Canada, for a #lightpollution project. So, here’s a picture of nicely lit bridge :

Trying to put lights that would produce absolutely no specular reflection would have probably mean drastically changing the height, location and amount of the light poles, which would have affected the limited space on the bridge (it’s already tight in terms of sidewalks, car lanes and bicycle lanes) and would have made the lighting conversion prohibitively expensive… which means lighting would not have been changed in the end.
