Also I think I'm just...inventing hashtags. That no one else will ever search or use. And are therefore completely useless. Alas.

@MaddieM My guess: There just aren't many of us #childwelfare #familydefense types here yet. Also the Mastodon search function sometimes seems limited to your own server instead of searching the entire "federation." Meanwhile I'll keep using hashtags like these and also #fostercare #childabuse #familypreservation

@NCCPR But also my post was a joke about how the word "dependency" is an utterly useless search in this audience, lol. My own husband is a software engineer and the other night he was telling me some work story and he said to me, "Before I go any further, do you know what a dependency is?"

@Anne_Oyed ugh I don't even know, I'm feeling so pessimistic about that. I'm on the west coast so I'll definitely miss the beginning. Maybe you'll let me know around midday whether I should tune in, lol.
