I always write/scribble with a pencil when possible rather than an ink-based device. Maybe it's a math-head thing – we have a fondness for pencils and chalk – I remember weeping silently when they removed the chalkboards from my classroom many years ago. 😢

I often wonder if my choice of pencil is the norm. Being a HB it's about as imaginative as a colour-coordinated shoelace. What's your weapon of choice?

@runcertain honestly I've started using a fountain pen again. Mainly because having to concentrate on direction etc improves my scrawl a bit.

@PadraigMcl I completely agree with that idea. You can't beat a fountain pen to regain control of penmanship.

Might have to dust off my Mont Blanc in an attempt to mingle!

They're _amazing_
Shade as much as you like, it remains flat matt black, no graphite shine.

I don't do that kind of leatherwork though, not good enough to do clothing-type-things. I mostly do bags, purses, wallets, that sort of thing.

BTW I have similar lists (plural!) for sewing supplies and patterns so yeah, endless hobbies, endless hoarding... need not a bag, but a house of holding.
