I guess most people here prefer to pay directly to the bank account or use liberapay and similar sites instead of patreon because they don't want to support surveillance capitalism.

Sorry for being that guy on Mastodon, but does anyone else find that their enjoyment of the graphic is marred by the fact that the creator writes "8$" instead of "$8"? Presumably that's because in speech we say "eight dollars"? Anyway, it creates weird uncomfortable feelings in my body. I can barely bring myself to look!

Josh@VirLutro Do it. And if you have the slightest inkling of what you're doing (or curiosity to make it work), $8 is about what it costs to run your own instance (budget for $20 just in case you really don't know what you're doing).
