Tim Burnham 🇺🇸🇺🇦@gamingonlinux yeah, the cheap Chinese USB-C dock I bought wouldn't do 4k@60hz, so it doesn't get used. Not really willing to pay $89 for the real one, at least until SteamOS supports the mode I want to use: Steam UI or Discord on LCD, game on TV.
@gamingonlinux like, just let me hold the Deck and play on TV, the controls are quite nice. Don't like booting into KDE and dealing with an entirely separate Steam UI.
CommodoreSpence@gamingonlinux it’s an amazing handheld but it also works great on a tv. The best setup though is a usb C docking display, you can still use the deck as the controller when docked (with a decent length cable) or use other ones

I absolutely love it. Stray is a perfect game for getting used to the device.
