@Flamekebab Dw i'n hoffi biscedi siocled. Ond, dim Oreos. Mae Oreos yn biscedi siomedig. Maen nhw'n edrych fel siocled, ond maen nhw'n blas fel sawdust. Fy hoff bisced yn Digestive Siocled Tywyll.
I like chocolate biscuits. But, no Oreos. Oreos are disappointing biscuits. They look like chocolate, but they taste like sawdust. My favorite biscuit is Digestive Dark Chocolate.
@suearcher I tried Lidl's offbrand Oreos (Neos?) and found they were utterly awful. One of the few times I've been tempted to bin biscuits. Ultimately I didn't because I am weak.
@Flamekebab yes, I would probably plough on, if I'd bought them. Can't waste a biscuit....
@suearcher that was my thinking. I tried dunking them in both tea and coffee (separately not one after the other, I'm not insane). Nothing seemed to help.
@Flamekebab @suearcher maybe you should have...? ๐
@cadachllestri @suearcher I already took one for the team by enduring such a dreadful packet of disappointment!
@Flamekebab @suearcher maybe you should go the whole hog and brew a cup of coff-tea to go with your imitation sawdust cookies?
Now THAT's fighting talk.
@Flamekebab @suearcher No one, yet.
But that Nestle employee with the loaded custard trebuchet got pretty close.
Don't diss the Kit Kats, people. ๐ฑ
@cadachllestri @suearcher I like Kit-Kats! Although they are inferior to Norwegian Kvikk Lunsj in every way...
@Flamekebab @suearcher you only like them in the chocolate bar aisle though, right?
@cadachllestri @suearcher if I was looking for them in a corner shop I'd expect to find them amongst the Lion bars and suchlike, not near the custard creams!
Principles. Is that a cake, a biscuit or a chocolate bar?
@cadachllestri @Flamekebab @suearcher
Somehow this has resulted in me photographing Kit Kats on the way home. I can't believe I'm feeding this beast.
@curatedjenny @Flamekebab @suearcher
This should definitely have a Content Warning - there's an upside down Aero in that display. ๐ฑ ๐
@Ebly @curatedjenny @Flamekebab @suearcher oh, I noticed the upside down KitKat, but there was only so much I could process at a time. ๐
@Flamekebab @Ebly @cadachllestri @curatedjenny Hersheys!
Also, one guy got very excited when his Mum sent him a package from home. Among the terrible chocolate was a box of Red Rose teabags. He insisted we get a teapot out and make tea. It was basically PG tips (which is fine), but I was amused at an American trying to tell us Brits what 'proper' tea was like.
@curatedjenny @Flamekebab @suearcher
That KitKat Chunky - both cheaper and more expensive than a Yorkie bar, depending on quantity.
So, is wafer as an ingredient cheaper or more expensive than chocolate....? ๐ค
I was never any good at maths.
@cadachllestri @Flamekebab Sorry, forgot the English part!
I have a travel mug, to take to Repair Cafe. I always drink tea, but this week, I think, someone mixed the lids, and my tea tasted like coffee too. Not nice.
@cadachllestri @suearcher I'm thinking saying you like coff-tea in Welsh would have a fun cadence to it.
@cadachllestri @Flamekebab Mm, dw i eisiau cebab nawr....
(I want a kebab now!)
@suearcher I could see that working. Much like how we encase nuclear waste in concrete and bury it.
@suearcher @Flamekebab I bet nuclear waste would taste better. With or without the cheesecake topping.
