@dougthelawyer That's an excellent article. Part of the idea for having an appellate-focused server was to create some of those positive effects, with the same nerdy energy as #appellatetwitter. Over time, I hope that it naturally builds toward that.

Your posts here are still visible on all the big servers (well, once at least one person on each follows you). And you can follow anyone, on anything. But things like the "local" and "federated" feed here also can also, with time, add extra value.
