#introduction hello everyone! I'm Derek, nobody of consequence, migrating slowly from Twit. Don't work in the games industry but am an avid player and somewhat collector of the cardboard (it's not an addiction).

Learning the art of properly teaching a boardgame has helped me tremendously in being a part-time educator, trainer and mentor.

@CaptainDRack I’m new around here as well! I’m working on honing the skill of properly teaching board games to others - people really underestimate how hard it can be and how much it impacts a 1st play!

@CaptainDRack totally true! I‘ve never been one to teach games in my circles until recently and WOW it’s a skill set all in its own.
