SuperTranI'm trying to migrate from mastodon.social to tech.lgbt to spread out some of the server load and I like the moderation over there a bit more, but I'm getting this error. Any ideas? I tried my alias both with and without an @ before it. #mastodon

@Supertran I don’t really know, but you might need to make the account over there first, and set it up for an incoming transfer… I could be totally wrong though.
@ezwal I did that. It seems like it's just server churn on both sides of the instances. I was able to import my follows easily though, and they run a tight ship over there at tech.lgbt
