@skepteis @estebanmoro Honest question here: it seems like the service is built to scale up easily, but what about the financial cost of doing so? How will donations scale up too? What if they don't?

The instance I'm on hasn't seen a ton of growth, but it has something like 1400 user and only 10 patrons.

How can Mastodon servers (and admins) project a sense of stability?
