ian 🇵ðŸ‡mastodon being a dumping ground for some for cross posts kinda sucks… but also hoping it organically turns the other way around. i do remember twitter in the early days being a bit like that as well, and it *mostly* faded away after a while
Esther Tseng@merc248 yes i was cross-posting using that site but realized 🦣 is a completely different animal and now that my feed is refreshing, am enjoying it and also want to contribute in an intentional manner (it's day 2 for me)
@estarla i’m new to it too! i’m learning as well, and found that it’s been nice engaging directly w folks, more so than how it is on twitter - but yeah, i mean, it was also the case on early twitter for a while until it gained critical mass and cultural cachet, i’m sure the same will happen here in time
