Josh MarshallWow, I have 2,500 followers here. Not pushing that as some huge accomplishment (i have like 380k on twitter). more a measure of theres a non-trivial number of people in the political news/interested space setting up shop here.
JB Emmons@joshtpm I think that's exactly the real takeaway for people with huge Twitter audiences. Twitter has a huge user base you can't ignore, even as it's shrinking. But Mastodon has a relatively small but EXPONENTIALLY growing user base. You shouldn't ignore that, either.
Clio@IntlLawGnome @joshtpm and it's a base that uses its free will and is not tethered to an algorithm that boxes them into a demographic.
