"Steep Street," from Dinotopia: The World Beneath. The two kids in the striped pajamas are my sons, who stayed up late to pose for this picture.
@jamesgurney cute story on top of some amazing artwork 💜
@jamesgurney great artwork. I like it a lot when artists put an hidden gem inside their work. Finding such gem is always so much fun and it sometimes amazes me, what and where it was.
@jamesgurney Reallly lively. Looks like I missed some of the books.
@jamesgurney … lovely. And lively, too. 😉

@jamesgurney My husband was never much into art, but we talked about fantasy artwork and some days later he gifted me the german version of "Dinotopia" because its one of his favorites of all time. The book realy gave me a push to go on and work on my skills. Thank you so much for inspiring us so much!

@jamesgurney WAIT. Wait wait wait. You're telling me that Dinotopia had a SEQUEL?
