Birdsonga dahlia I drew 5 or so years ago ... not my best drawing but it sucked me into drawing macro flowers AND growing dahlias in the garden.

I had to cut down the actual dahlias in the garden for the end of the season. But that also means it's drawing season again :)
@Birdsong I’ve never been successful storing them over winter and stopped purchasing them.
@KristinaWKelly I completely get that. It's warm enough here I can leave them be in the ground over the winter. I am at heart a very lazy horticulturalist.
