Kate@francesbell @philbarker Alt text is there. The official app doesn’t show it, but iOS apps Metatext and Toot! both do.

@francesbell @philbarker This is so much my experience over years. I took three goes to get the hang of it slowly, and now it’s my main place. Metatext handles alt text beautifully.
