@pardoguerra It’s though sad to see how a single billionaire could destroy something that was technically really developed. New here and I find the lack of some established Twitter functions really difficult.

@pardoguerra You should take a look at the scholar.social instance. It's focused specifically on academics and scholars. It's a fairly tightly moderated server, though, and AFAIK it doesn't federate with mastodon.social -- you probably can't see too much from there, and they probably can't see you.
