@YoWatShiinaEsq you’re right, it is horrible. Many of the affected workers are paid just above minimum wage, which is CA$15.50/h, or CA$24,800/y (40h/wk, 10 months/year). They are not teachers, they are educational assistants, custodians, and support workers. The schools cannot operate safely without them. In the end, this government wants to destroy our public education system and replace it with charter schools similar to those in the USA. This is about putting public money /2
