My proposal for news organizations (and other institutions) to stand up their own mastodon instances on their domains is still getting passed around, so here's a repost.

@danhon oh yes, I was looking for this! I've been vaguely thinking of getting Snipette (the magazine I edit) formally on the Fediverse for a while (rather than just @snipette which is unfortunately mostly crossposting).
Actually what got me stuck is I was trying to envision the publication itself as an actor on the fediverse (something like write.as) rather than, say, a Mastodon instance which is run by the publication and has it authors posting on there
