We have added a rule regarding Crossposting :

Crossposts from twitter must be under a CW, and frequent crossposting must be unlisted

Given the recent activity, we find this preferable to avoid content flood in our public timelines with Twitter content.

Thank you for your understanding.

@TransparencyReports just to clarify, sometimes i have something i'd like to post on both sites, but i manually post it on both sites, no bots or twitter links. does that still count as crossposting, or is that different? i like getting both perspectives since they can be pretty different
@TransparencyReports for instance, i make a lot of polls on both sites, partly because it's interesting to see the differences and similarities in opinion
@goaty @TransparencyReports Hi there!
Na doing things manually isn't gonna count, you're actally using meow, rather than having a bot copy your tweets over, the issue is more people just setting that and never being on meow again, not minding what gets posted here.
@TransparencyReports what about auto-posting a message to both at once via a specific software?
@nighty if you can specifically tailor the mastodon side with content warnings and actually use meow, it's like using a third party client. We specifically refer to stuff that grabs indiscriminately anything someone posts on Twitter, never getting a content warning or media alt text, and never actually using meow
