So, how did people choose their instance? Has anyone found a new home they’d particularly recommend?

My main interests are law, politics, social and climate justice, feminism and sport, if that helps… Oh, and I’m in London but from Scotland originally 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

With the number of instances growing each day it's hard for anyone to keep track of them all. But I've found this list useful to search for ones that might be a good fit https://instances.social/
Or you might find following some hashtags and seeing where those users are posting from a good method
