@xorhex maybe it's just in the Android app, and it could be an issue with the server I'm on (mastodon.social). I've noticed many issues with refreshing and loading content, especially images

@awakecoding It happens also with tweet images, a tweet may display the image of a previously seen tweet.

@ep3p I switched to the Mastodon progressive web app instead, it is a LOT more responsive than the official Android native app. Otherwise, try Tusky
