Hi, I am a linguist with a background in media linguistics and discourse analysis. I study how culture and society are constituted through discursive and media practices. I am interested in the integration of semiotic, mediality-oriented, and pragmatic analyses of (political) discourse (mostly in German), both corpus-based & hermeneutic. Currently, my research focuses on political positioning & linguistic conceptual history.
