You’re all smart people and I’m (probably) not your parent, but I love you all just the same and want you to be happy and successful. That can be tough to do when fixated on something negative. I find the posts entertaining and, while alarming, the situation is playing out pretty much like all of us expected.

@jerry I had a few times today where I went to open Twitter only to remember I deleted both my account and the app, but meh. I'm really just keeping one eyeball on the whole situation out of curiosity to see what fed and state gov does on the platform.

I think we're still in the grace period - people go on networks like this to talk about what's on their mind, and right now switching networks is going to be a pretty big one - but if people are going to remain on here, it'll have to be because they've figured out something else to talk about.

@jerry OTOH, Twitter is (still) an important player on the global information market no matter whether it once was your online home or not, so what happens there does affect all of us even if we moved on. Just considering the effect of its content policies on national elections makes it hard to ignore what happens there.
