@jj_79 in the Mastodon app I cant seem to find a local or federate timeline. Any better apps to use?

@Liesje28 @jj_79 same- I don’t think I’ve seen anything in the app that defines the timelines as this flow describes them. Where are these other timelines?

@meeware @jj_79 I have just logged in via the browser and there they are clearly visible. In the app I have discouvered that when using the "search: icon you can swipe right through news, community etc and this covers the server timeline I guess. But it is suboptimal.

@Liesje28 @jj_79 ooooh search! Right. Ok just a different convention I guess. I’m happy to adapt and I’m sure there’s been some design process behind that. I’m new here, and I assume it’s on me to learn, not demand change.

@meeware @Liesje28 @jj_79 the official mastodon apps do not have these timelines, you have to use a browser or a third party app
