Haphaestus TV web browser has received NLNet funding! At which points its my great pleasure to say I'm subcontracting #FediHired !

Are you a (eastern, maybe) European multilingual software developer willing take on a part time contract? I'm willing to offer:

* Money
* Training in Haskell & prior art
* Hopefully an impressive item on your CV

For someone to tackle laying out & rendering text within individual paragraphs. I'll handle "block" layout & rendering.

1/2

If so, please reply to this toot or email [email protected] with:

* Which natural and programming languages you can write
* Links to your prior work
* Your rates (I've got an upper limit, but I should be able to negotiate with NLNet)
* Why you're interested

And prepare some references.

You'll be free to take the lead on inline text, & only after the contract I'll ask whether to continue managing those subprojects.

Hey @cadxdr , as a linguist do you have any contacts you can refer me to? Who'd take on this contract?

They do have to be European, grant condition.

@alcinnz hm, i don't think I know anybody who could take this (or would, i don't really know folk who have a thing for translation or computational linguistics).

i'll ping @Stoori @schratze and @emacsomancer tho, they may know someone or boost this into the right places maybe

@cadxdr Thanks! That's helpful!
