Thanks @benjaminhollon It’s an #Epomaker GK96XS with Godsend keycaps from #YMDK. The caps are described as “OEM Profile Thick PBT.” I have a few sets from YMDK and like them all.
@technicalissues Really fun! What size is it? I've currently got a TKL, but I'm considering looking for a 60% with QMK firmware.
@benjaminhollon it’s a 96% and not QMK 😞 I’m actually looking at getting a Keychron that’s TKL. I should also mention I like the Halo Clear switches in my keyboards.
@technicalissues How are those switches? I've heard good things about them. I use Cherry MX Clears.
@benjaminhollon I started with the Cherry Clears in a CODE keyboard. These are very similar but have clear housings so they work well with RGB.
@benjaminhollon I have a 68% from #Epomaker too, but couldn’t deal with having to relocate either ESC or the ` as I use both all the time
@technicalissues Well, I've just moved <Esc> to replace <CapsLock> in my case; I'm loving having an easier access location. I expect due to that I wouldn't have too much trouble with that particular issue.
@benjaminhollon does this not mess you up when using laptops or other computers besides your primary setup?
