Some more fediblock meta to chew on, pt. 1 of 2

The user @heretical_i (whose account was limited by @subMedia earlier today) is saying Kolektiva monitors its users' conversation. Not true. We're anarchists and we hate surveillance capitalism

Many of the posts are deleted, but it's hard to believe the Kolektiva user (not involved in the admin or mod side of this Mastodon instance) was in the wrong. In August 2021, I apparently deleted @[email protected] after it received 17 reports

pt. 2 of 2

I think Kolektiva.social should aim for wide federation. But as a big, somewhat "generalistic" instance - a free service for helping the masses get off spyware social media - we will have problem users from time to time. It is a challenge we are trying to meet, and in the right way too

I do not think this - or other conversations that involve single problem users on "generalistic" instances - needs to be a fediblock-level issue

but I'll alert @HgO @vanecx and @Ilja all the same
