@JoshGrams the fence is powered by a solar charger. The fence itself is a twisted poly-wire held in place with plastic anchors that slot into the fence posts.
We resorted to this when several years ago all our veggie seedlings were eaten by critters. We had essentially planted a buffet for wildlife.
