I was just lamenting earlier today that while you can find pictures of old style library cards and the "card charging machines" that used the cards and a thumbwheel set date to eat a chunk out of the card from the pocket of a book and stamp the patron number and due date on the next line, I could not find video of one operating or a recording of the delicious kerchunking noise it makes...
