@AG0NY Naw- I did find myself cycling up hill with the wind in my face for 7miles yesterday. The coming back down was small comfort!

I miss riding, I'm not sure how well if be able to tolerate it now with my fusions, if like to try a recumbent trike, maybe with some battery and of course be AG0NY/tricycle mobile, I've been car, truck, boat, motorcycle, bicycle, AND... UNICYCLE mobile, so, aviation, to and trike are still left lol
@AG0NY I admit, i wonder how long my knees have and if i will go the battery pack bike route.I actually saw an old lass out on pedal trike. Her balance might have gone, but she still had the energy, those trikes are heavy!
@MM0INH the recumbents are a bit heavier, yes, but with the reduced frontal area, much faster and easier... Main reason I want electric, is radios, not speed, I know that will come, and you mentioned knees?
@AG0NY Oooer, i hadn't considered radio as part of an electric bike... smart!
@MM0INH I had an ICOM IC2-GAT with an external battery, and a 5/8 wave antenna mounted on the rear rack, with a speaker mic I used for a long time, rarely had to bring it out of low power

2m is a bit of a wasteland here outside contests, so sadly wouldn't work here- but sounds like a fun setup.
