Nic Dafis@Siencyn no-one - this server (toot.wales) is owned by @jaz, but Mastodon is a de-centralised network of nodes. It’s, um, complicated.

@nic @Siencyn ever so nitpickingly technically... I don't own but I am the current admin. We have several moderators who can succeed me in case I die/disappear/become a secret agent and the entity itself is a non profit corporation with a (small) board of unpaid directors its own funds and bank etc.
I nitpick so it's clear you can trust that the service will be around a long while, that i am not 100 percent autonomous, and that I cannot be bought out.
