Imagine being able to follow and interact with Instagram accounts from Twitter, with Pixelfed and Mastodon you can!

Simply search the account url from either Mastodon or Pixelfed and you can follow and interact as if you were both on the same website!

This is the magic of the #fediverse

@dansup For a while, I followed a Mastodon account on Pixelfed, but when I commented on their posts, they never responded. I later learned they couldn't see the comments. I now follow that person from my Mastodon account and things work more smoothly.

Maybe the sites should be separate, to keep things more predictable? Or at least a warning that I was doing something weird would have been nice.
