Become ungovernable

@radicalrobit

May we all live our lives like The Realest Boy

@radicalrobit If I could only fight hostile power as well as that bird.

@radicalrobit

the one thing the gif version misses is the original video lets you hear the rattling clang of the spikes hitting the pavers.

@radicalrobit cockatoos are the awesome, they were pulling apart the windows on our old apartment.

my bro told me that they were pulling light bulbs off the melbourne spire and throwing them on the street. so the art center had to hire falcons to patrol the shit.

@radicalrobit that bird is an icon. Right on, birdie.
@radicalrobit This honestly fucking rules. OMFG.
@radicalrobit fuck hostile architecture, in all its forms.

@radicalrobit

saw recently that crows and magpies are using these anti-bird strips to build nests. i like the idea of building something you need by tearing apart the things that oppress and obstruct you.

@paul_ipv6 @radicalrobit

I have seen eagles’ nests made of barbed wire in the treeless plains of Australia…

@radicalrobit Busy doing the bird-lord’s work
@radicalrobit can I apply for this to be my spirit animal?

@radicalrobit

Gathering more nesting material... :D

@radicalrobit of course it's a cockatoo
@MachoManPierreCardin @radicalrobit the most correct possible response to hostile architecture. We need to follow the corvid's example and stop putting up with this shit.
@radicalrobit cockatoos are the greatest and i will brook no argument. enough intelligence to destroy anything, enough wisdom to enjoy it with their entire being, enough mobility to avoid any consequences, enough lifespan to do it for 100 years. there are none more free.

@leon @radicalrobit

And yet a rainbow lorikeet, which is a tenth of their size, can boss any sulphur crested cockatoo around… 😐

@radicalrobit took me a second but when I realised what it was doing I lost it laughing 😂
@radicalrobit we need more Birds like this! LMAO 🤣😂🤣
@radicalrobit Afterwards we gotta send that bird down to the park to fix all the anti-homeless benches.
@radicalrobit The people who put up the anti bird spikes love this bird- they get to resell the spikes all over again! That bird should get a commission- paid in treats :)
@radicalrobit Cockatoos are well known vandals 🤣
@radicalrobit @DrJosh9000 sulphur cresteds are renowned vandals, hooligans, thugs and bullies! Love ’em!

@radicalrobit

Sums up Australia 👍👏🖕

@radicalrobit
😍 ...wondering when we start to do the same with misanthropic "street architecture/furniture" 🤔 ✊
If birds can do it...
@grootinside @radicalrobit One of the things I loved about the HK protests in 2019 was that people removed safety fences from the sidewalks and repurposed them as barricades. The sidewalks were suddenly much more accessible and you didn't feel as caged in. It took about a year after the protests ended befire they were all in place again.
@radicalrobit @aral I have zero doubt this bird remembers that ledge without those spikes.
