Do we have any other sources for the mass refusal to fight in #RussianInvasion of #Ukraine by Belarusian rank-and-file soldiers [1]? Seems like Putin's Plan B (extra infantry from #Belarus) has a serious flaw.

The Belarusians have already disrupted Putin's plans.

@boud How could they refuse an order they were not given [yet]? This must be anecdotal, unless someone is able to conduct opinion polls among the soldiers.

If such an internal report really exists about the officers' fear to be killed by the soldiers, we won't see it.

If you're thinking of Wikipedia, in such cases the solution is not to look for a better source (which is impossible) but to reduce the scope of the claim. "X claimed the generals heard some officers thought their soldiers...".
